Letter F

Welcome to Letter F Monday! To see more projects that use cuts or cartridges that start with the letter, head on over to My Cricut Craft Room to see what the other design team members have made today!

For my project, I used the Imagine cartridge Imagine More to cut out the 2 "Friends" and a "flower"

  • I started with a A7 card base, and cut down my patterned paper to just be slightly smaller than the front
  • I cut the flower at 2.5 inches and the friends at 4 inches, both are attached to the card base using pop-dots
  • The inside of the card is stamped with a sentiment stamp from Pink by Design's new stamp set 29 and holding that reads " We'll be friends til we're old & senile then, we'll be new friends"

Imagine Monday!

Today my project for the design team is a card using the Imagine cartridge Better Together. To check out other projects using the Imagine, make sure to visit Erica's blog at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

  • I used a A2 card base
  • I cut the patterned paper to 3 7/8 x 5 3/8 so that it would be just slightly smaller than the front of the card base.
  • The lady carrying the presents is the cut from Better Together, and she is cut at 4 inches and attached to the card base using pop dots.
  • Before attaching the patterned paper to the card base, I wrapped some twine around the paper, and then used ATG adhesive to attach the patterned paper to the card base.
  • I used Memento ink and a Happy Birthday sentiment stamp from the Scripted Year set from Pink by Design.

Hi Everyone! Today is my first time participating in a sketch challenge for the My Cricut Craft Room design team! I have to say I had a lot of fun making this layout, and hope that you enjoy it! If you would like to see what the other design team members made with the sketch, please visit Erica's blog to check out the other projects.

Here is the sketch that we used:
And here is my take on it!

  • I used K&Company valentines paper stack for the pattened paper as well as the "my valentine" tag.
  • The half-heart on the bottom right is cut from Better together at 3 inches and then cut in half.
  • The ribbon on the page is all from The paper studio
  • Brads and embilishments are also from The paper studio

Happy Anniversary Card

Hi everyone! Today is one of my best friends and her husbands 3rd wedding anniversary, so today's card is for them!

Items used:
  • A7 Card base
  • Patterned paper
  • White paper
  • Brown cardstock
  • Cuttlebug embossing folder
  • Border Punch
  • Better Together Imagine Cartridge
  • pop dots
  • adhesive
  • Stamps
  • Memento Ink
How To:
  • I started by cutting down the patterned paper and punching the edges with my border punch. I also punched white computer paper with the same punch to make a under layer with the same pattern. I cut the white punched paper strips and attached them to the back to the patterned paper and then attached both to the card base.
  • The brown cardstock that is was embossed is actually a scrap from a previous project that I didn't end up using and it fit perfectly with this card!
  • I cut the birds on the branches from the Better Together Imagine cartridge at 3 inches and attached them to the card with pop dots.
  • For the inside of the card, I stamped it with 2 different stamps. The "Happy Anniversary" stamp is from PBD's Scripted Year, and the other stamp is just one in my collection (I don't remember the brand)

First Imagine project!

HI! I am so excited as I was able to pull out my new Imagine and finally use it! I have made 4 cards in the last 2 nights and can't wait to share them with you all. I will only tonight, as I am still adding some finishing touches to the others.

I used a basic card base and my Better Together Imagine cart. I cut the background yellow at 6 inches and the front at 5 inches. For the front part, I kept the colors as the default from the cartridge.

I put the 6 inch yellow background through my sticker maker, and used 3 foam 3-D pop dots on the front part. I then stamped the inside with a "Happy Anniversary" stamp from Pink By Design. I also used a PBD stamp on the back to stamp "created by" and then signed my name.

Hope you enjoyed! And I am so glad to be back to crafting!
