Yesterday, I shared with you the card for one of my nieces who celebrated her birthday this month. For the other one, I made this card! She turned 2 on the 11th!
Items used:
- 3 different shades of pink cardstock
- white cardstock
- 3D foam squares
- ATG adhesive
- adhesive gemstones
- Happy Birthday sentiment stamp
- Storybook Cricut cartridge
- stickles
- Ink
- scalloped 2 inch circle punch
I started by cutting out the butterfly's. I cut 2 in the darkest pink at 6 inches. For the second layer, I cut the butterfly at 5 3/4 inches, I attached this later to the front of the card with ATG adhesive. I cut the smallest butterfly at 4.5 inches. I attached this butterfly with 3D foam square adhesive. I added stickles to the antenna's to give them some sparkle. I then cut a scalloped punch from the white cardstock and stamped it with the Happy Birthday sentiment from PBD and inked the edges. I also added the adhesive gemstones to the front of the card for some added bling.
To make a back flap for the card, I took the second large butterfly and trimmed off the top wings just blow the antenna's and secured it to the front flap with ATG adhesive.
