Imagine Monday!

Hi everyone! Welcome to Imagine Monday hosted by Erica at My Cricut Craft Room. If you would like to see other projects made using the Imagine, or an Imagine cartridge with the E2, please head over the Erica's blog and check out what the other design team members have made today!

My project to day is a birthday card for my Mother-in-law! She loves to sew, so I knew this card would be a hit!

Items used:
  • Nifty Fifties and Imagine More cartridges
  • patterned paper from stash
  • A7 paper studio craft paper card base
  • twine
  • pop-dots
  • "A stitch in time" frame cut from Imagine More at 4.5 inches
  • sewing machine cut at 2 inches from Nifty Fifties
  • ATG
  • Sentiment stamp for inside (not pictured), and Memento ink
How To:
  • I started by cutting my patterned paper down and adhering it to my card base using ATG
  • I then attached the frame to the card base using pop-dots.
  • Before adhering all layers of the sewing machine together, I added the twine to the spool of thread, and brought it down to the needle area to make it look like it was actually sewing something! I used some Zig glue to help keep the twine in place along the needle.
  • The sewing machine is also attached to the card base using pop-dots.
Hope you enjoyed!

    Imagine Monday!

Hi everyone and welcome to Imagine Monday hosted by Erica at My Cricut Craft Room! If you would like to see more projects made by the design team using the imagine or a imagine cartridge with the E2, please head on over to her blog!

My project today is a 12 x 12 layout that uses a tag from Imagine more. I actually made a video for you to watch using the freeze frame to help me put together each layer of the layout.

Here is a picture of the finished layout....
My tag is cut at 8 inches!

Don't forget, I will be giving away a freeze frame as part of my Blogaversary blog hop that will be on January 22nd!

January 100 Cartridge Blog Hop - Day 1

    Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop - Day 1

You should have come from Rosa, but if you just happened to stop by, please start at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ to start at the beginning!

I have made 5 projects for you today...so here ya go!

My first project is a sympathy card for a friend who lost her grandmother. I used Imagine more to print the background paper, and to cut the tag. This tag usually has a strawberry and the words sweet printed on it, so I had to remove them before printing from the imagine. The tag is cut at 4 inches.

My second project is a birthday card using Sugar and Spice. I cut the owl out at 3 inches. The background paper is from DCWV Celebrations stack, and the trim paper is from DCWV The Ultimate Premium Stack. The owl is attached to the card base using a action wobble! The sentiment on the front is embossed on using white embossing powder and is from Pink by Design. The sentiment on the inside is also from PBD and is stamped with Memento Grape Jelly ink.

My third project for you is a really cute grasshopper valentine card! I used Stretch your Imagination and cut the grasshopper at 3 inches, he is attached to the card base with pop-dots. The card base is from Studio G (the cute $1 packs of cards from Michaels!) I added three 3D glitter hearts to the cutout, to add some bling. The inside is stamped with a sentiment from PBD, and stamped with Lady Bug Memento ink.

My fourth project is a cute any day card for a friend. I used Just because cards to cut the card base, owl, and saying out. The card base is cut at 8 inches, and the sentiment and owl are cut at 2.5. I actually used Cricut Craft Room to lay all my layers out on the mat, and then placed my colored paper on it to cut all at once! I used "Eucalyptus" stickles to add some glitter to one portion of the sentiment cut out. The sentiment stamp on the inside is from PBD.
(All my papers to cut the owl card layers)

My final project for you today is another birthday card! I used Cheerful Season to cut the sentiment "Celebrate" at 1 inch. The background paper is from Momenta "Family Outings" (from Hobby Lobby). It is already embossed with circles to give it some texture. I attached it to my card base with some ATG. Before attaching it, I strung the twine around it to give it some a pop of color. I used a glue pen to adhere the "Celebrate" to the card base. The inside has 2 PBD sentiment stamps.

    Blog Candy time!
I am giving away a cute little Valentines sentiment stamp and ink. (Sorry I don't have a picture of it at the moment)
