Scrapbook Friday - Fun in the Sun

Hi everyone! Today is Scrapbook Friday with My Cricut Craft Room and I have made a fun layout to share with you today!

Items used:
  • Cherry Limeade Cricut Cartridge (this cartridge is becoming my favorite for cutting out letters!)
  • Bo Bunny Back to backs Barefoot Dot paper (2 sheets)
  • Orange cardstock
  • ATG and xyron adhesives
  • American crafts elements ribbon
How To:
  • I cut the letters out at 2 inches and ran then through my xyron sticker maker
  • I cut the ribbon to be just slightly longer than my paper (probably about 13 inches) and also ran that through my sticker maker.
  • I cut my pictures down to 4 x 4 and 5 x 4 and attached them to the patterned paper with my ATG adhesive
  • Once the pictures were in place, I added the ribbon to the bottom of each page
  • The final step was to add the lettering to the pages.
Hope you all enjoyed my scrapbook page today! I had a lot of fun putting it together after out fun weekend seeing family and spending time outside at the park and in the SUN!

Theme Day Thursday!

Welcome to Theme Day Thursday! I have chosen to make a project that fits the "Independence Day" theme for you today. This card was so fun to make, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. As always to see more projects made by the other design team members, head on over to My Cricut Craft Room.

Items used:
  • A2 card base
  • patterned paper
  • Red, White and blue card stock
  • pop-dots
  • ATG adhesive / xyron sticker maker
  • Lady Bug Red Memento ink
  • Red, White & Blue stamp set from Pink by Design
  • Cherry Limeade cricut cartridge and basic shapes from Imagine
How To:
  • I started by cutting the patterned paper to be just slightly smaller than the front of the card base. I inked the edges using my red memento ink and attached it to my card base with ATG adhesiv.
  • I cut the USA letters from the Cherry Limeade at 1 inches and the stars from the basic shapes offered on the Imagine at 1.5 inches.
  • I ran the letters through the sticker maker and then attached them to the stars.
  • The stars are attached to the card base using a pop-dot
  • The inside of the card is stamped using the Lady Bug Red Memento ink with a sentiment stamp from Pink by design. :)

Scrapbook Friday - Color Purple

Hi everyone, and welcome to Scrapbook Friday! I choose to be part of the challenge to use the color purple in my layout. Here is my January page for a calendar that I am making!

Items used:
  • Cherry Limeade lite cartridge
  • BoBunny paper set
  • Adhesive
  • border punch
  • pucture
How To:
  • I have a calendar kit that I bought back in 2010 while still living in Alaska that I am making my mission to actually use and make the kits up! So while at a weekend long crop I was able to get a bunch of the months completed! I made up the layout using paper from the BoBunny pack, and attached some cute pictures.
  • I then cut the January letters from purple card stock using Cherry Limeade cartridge at 2 inches, and attached them to the calendar using my 1.5 inch sticker maker.
